Flexibility - easily control access to any door anywhere. Utilize the small (4” by 6”) cost effective Common Pass Module (CPM) to manage previously non-controlled doors - or to augment existing access control panels. Common Pass™ provides a School District ID database with a capacity of 400,000 IDs at each door.
Incident Lockdown and Responder Access
Prepare for an incident - pre-load Incident Situation Scenarios defining lockdowns and Responder access.
Respond to an incident – lock down the location and allow Responder access during incidents even where the Responders are unknown to the local existing access control system.
Recognize Responders – accept any ID badge format including “smart” cards such as FIPS-201 ID cards - even where the local existing access control system does not accept these advanced ID card formats.
Federal Programs – apply for Federal grants. Common Pass™ works with Safe School Federal Programs from The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), The Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), The Department of Education (DOE) and the Department of Justice (DOJ). Common Pass™ provides Emergency Preparedness, Responder incident access and FIPS-201 ID support – the three key working components for these programs.
